NEW YORK–( BUSINESS WIRE )–Thesis Care (formerly Trovo Health), an AI-powered care team platform for scalable clinical capabilities, announced $45 million in Series A funding with additional backing from Oak HC/FT led by CRV, and Black Opal Ventures and veteran C-level healthcare technology angel investors. This brings the total funding for the article to $60 million.
With this announcement, the company is also unveiling its new name, Thesis Care, to reflect the evolution of its platform. The article deploys AI agents supported by expert clinicians to perform high-impact clinical operations and care management tasks for healthcare organizations.
The platform is powered by AI that understands the clinical context to deliver personalized patient engagement and workflow actions, while knowing when and how to engage a thesis team of clinical experts – in the loop. Because Thesis completes end-to-end tasks and delivers results, it doesn’t require employees or providers to learn a new tool and maintain existing workflows.
“2025 was a defining year for Thesis as we transitioned from design partnerships to a clear business path and a growing customer base,” said Nirin Gundra, MD, CEO and co-founder of Thesis Care. “We’ve proven that we can extend clinical capacity and allow our customers to do more for patients at a scale that was historically impossible. Now, we’re ready to bring that to any healthcare organization that needs it.”
The article’s partnership covers thousands of providers and includes major provider organizations in primary and specialty care. Partners include USA Heart and Vascular, Eason Healthcare, Springfield Clinic, Allied Health Partners, and Allied Digestive Health. The company is currently expanding partnerships with health systems and health plan care teams.
“The theme allows us to deliver better care at scale—without the operational overhead you might expect,” said Shivali Shah, SVP of Operations at Allied Digestive Health. “It’s getting real use out of our staff platforms, making patients look prepared, and closing care gaps. What sets Articles apart is the human care team behind the agents—that combination of automation and human judgment is what takes patient care to the next level. The ROI speaks for itself.”
“As we scale USHV, we’re looking for partners who can deliver innovation and execution,” said Mike Plantz, senior vice president of revenue operations at US Cardiovascular, the lead MSO for more than 300 cardiovascular providers. “The combination of Article’s AI agents and care team experts allowed us to deploy solutions quickly with minimal internal lift, resulting in a significant reduction in administrative burden and strengthened practice support.”
With this funding, the company plans to accelerate commercial development, deepen the creation of a unified technology platform, and expand its suite of care team agents.
“Topic has developed a fundamentally unique platform that addresses clinically intensive, complex workflows,” said Andrew Adams, co-founder and managing partner at Oak HC/FT. “We are proud to continue our partnership with the Thesis team as they build the infrastructure for the future of scalable care delivery.”
