Mark Cuban reveals his “hateful” 3-ingredient meal that contains 25g of protein

Sounds like a very rude fish.

Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban may be known for his bold business moves, but his latest foodie confession made even his 16-year-old son run away from the kitchen.

During an appearance on Robin Arzon’s “Project Swagger” podcast by South, the former “Shark Tank” star called the three-ingredient diet “nasty” but effective in getting his protein.

While Cuban previously followed a vegetarian diet to prolong his life, he recently switched to a pescatarian approach to get iron in his diet — and shared the recipe he follows for lunch.

“I know it’s going to be awful and disgusting,” the 67-year-old told Arzoon. “My new go-to food is egg whites… and because I need iron, I add baby kale.”

“But because they hate it [and] It tastes disgusting, I put honey in them,” he added, earning loud boos from the live audience.

The Texas-based investor claims the unusual combination not only packs in protein, but also supports his longevity strategy to make him feel decades younger than his biological age.

“Literally, it sounds pretty disgusting,” he admitted. “But that’s not even the worst part… the worst part is that they’re in the trunk, right? And they come with water. And so you know how you open the trunk of something, there’s water in it—you have to take the skin and really squeeze it to get all the water out.

“So I’m like, bite the bag and there’s clam juice everywhere, but otherwise, it comes in an envelope, and if it comes in an envelope, it ruins the envelope, and you can’t put honey in the envelope because the envelope is ruined.”

Although the ugly sound of “Klamwich” surprised people, according to an expert, there is nothing wrong with it nutritionally.

“She’s fine,” Robin DiCicco, a certified holistic nutritionist based in New York, told Fox News. “Ducked shellfish such as clams, mussels and oysters are very high in absorbable iron and are also high in protein.”

A can of egg whites contains 50 calories and 11 grams of protein, while clams contain 80 calories and 14 grams of protein per can, all of which provide a post-workout protein boost.

However, DeCicco also notes that the sodium content of some shellfish can be high, while honey can raise blood sugar levels more than complex carbohydrates.

There’s also a significant lack of vegetables, DeCicco added, all of which are “important for fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, all of which are linked to disease prevention, gut health and longevity.”

Cuban says the exotic food follows a food rule he shares with his three sons: “If you like one thing, and you like another thing, and you put them together, you’ll like them more.”

His daily breakfast is very typical, a bowl of corn topped with honey and apricots to give him more fuel and iron.

But the unusual sandwich fits his lifelong goal, as he notes that age has forced him to become more precise about how diet, exercise and supplements affect his body.

“As you get older, your body responds differently to all the information,” Cuban explained. “If it’s exercise, is it the food you eat [or] complementary

Cuban previously shared his top three tips for feeling younger and living longer in his anti-aging science documentary “Longevity Hackers.” Pointing to walking as much as possible, which keeps him more active than a decade ago.

He also exercises regularly, usually spending 45 to 90 minutes at the gym doing high-intensity interval training with Heroics-style workouts that focus on endurance running with active strength exercises.

And to meet his nutritional needs, he supplements with vitamin D for calcium absorption and vitamin E to support the immune system and lower inflammation.

He will also turn to a melatonin supplement at night to adjust his internal clock for better sleep.
